Name, where are you from?
Martha Hill, Dunoon! (Scotland).

Describe your style in three words?
Second hand threads.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Biffy Clyro at the SECC in Glasgow. Was my first ever gig and it was a home show for them and we were moshing... was WELL GOOD.

If you could be on the line up with any two bands or artists in history?
Janis Joplin and Amy Winehouse 'cause I'd have loved to see them live.

Which Subcultures have influenced you?
I was a pure emo when I was a teen. Guess I just had a lot to express haha.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
My Grandpa! Wanna hear all the goss on my Dad when he was wee.

Of all the venues you’ve been to, which is your favourite?
Franziskaner in Bad Saulgau! The owner is Hans and the sound guy is Heinz and it's just mint craic. Never-ending German wheat beers!!

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
My mum. She plays the organ in the church every week and used to run the school choirs. Legend.

04Playlist Notes

The first track you played on repeat?
'Barbie Girl' by AQUA. My best mate had it on an aqua blue cassette and we used to rinse it.

A song that defines the teenage you?
'Last Resort' by Papa Roach (had a lot of feelings).

One record you would keep forever?
'Wish You Were Here' by Pink Floyd.

A song lyric that has inspired you?
"We're all living day to day trying to get along together a hah."

From 'Easy' by Mesadorm.

A song you wished you had written?
'Sk8ter Boi' by Avril Lavigne.

Best song to turn up loud?
'Killing In The Name' by Rage Against The Machine.

A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
'Love Machine' by Girls Aloud.

The song to get you straight on the dance floor?
'Water Fountain' by Tune-Yards (there's a whole routine).

Best song to end an all-nighter?
Gotta be 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen!!

Any new bands you are into at the moment?
'Birds' by Ceitidh Mac. The North East is on it at the moment.
