‘Stops My Mouth’ is the beguiling second single from rising stars Bat and Ball.
It’s sparse, jagged future pop full of intricate beats, iridescent guitars and shimmering synths, offset by Abi Sinclair’s scarred chanteuse delivery. It reinforces Bat and Ball’s burgeoning reputation for creating Intelligent, electronic inflected indie that’s drawn comparisons with London Grammar and Alt-J.
The single will be a joint release - through the band’s own label Hospital Samples and DJ Jen Long’s Kissability label – on 28th April 2014. An exclusive limited edition cassette will also be available through Kissability. Jen has been a supporter of Bat and Ball from the off and the band will play her night at this year’s The Great Escape.
