Tune in to BBC4, on Friday 29th June at 9.00pm to watch "Quadrophenia... Can You See The Real Me?" an in depth documentary about the making of The Who's Mod-culture masterpiece.
Pete Townshend looks back referring to "Quadrophenia" as "the last great album The Who ever made", in this BBC documentary directed by Matt O’Casey, featuring unheard studio recordings, unseen correspondence and photos, plus archive footage of their 1973 concert at Belle Vue, Manchester, that has never previously been seen. There are also in depth interviews with Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey, photographer Ethan Russell, engineer Ron Nevison, Ramport Studio secretary Georgiana Waller, The Who’s manager Bill Curbishley and tour manager John Wolff. BBC4 will follow "Can You See The Real Me?" with "Quadrophenia The Movie" and "The Who Live at the Electric Proms" to complete the evening's Who theme.
