Crybaby Special are an indefinable three piece British guitar band from Medway, Kent, with an um-pap-pah heavy back beat. They take the best of British Ska and have carried it forward with an infectious uncompromising punk gypsy attitude. Their first offerings since forming at the start of 2012 have already garnered them much critical acclaim, including a five star review from Artrocker Magazine and with the band building increasing momentum, 2013 is looking like a big year from them with there debut album 'No Excuses' being released on 22nd of April through The Preservation Society Presents record label. After forming in 2012 Crybaby Special quickly moved to the forefront of the Medway music scene (Kent), revolutionising the local ethic and turning their backs on the status quo. After rejecting many leeching promoters the band put on a string of their own gigs leading up to their debut EP, recorded at Slaughter House Studio's under the watchful eye of Mik Whitnall (Babyshambles) and Adem Hilmi (Peter Doherty producer). 'Man In The Woods EP' was a huge success, selling out the first print of physical copies on the night of their sold out launch and paving the way for further success.
Crybaby Special release their debut album 'No Excuses' on April 22nd on The Preservation Society Presents record label.
They headline the Notting Hill Arts Club, Death2Disco London on Wednesday April 24th as their London Album Launch, and play the Royal Function Rooms, Rochester (Kent) on Saturday April 27th as a hometown Album Launch.
