The latest release from Inspiral Carpets is a true feast of subcultural ingredients. As well as enlisting the help of "punk poet", John Cooper Clarkefor a spoken word middle section, the video features some nice cinematography of Northern Soul dancers, doing their thing against some spectacularly minimal lighting. Watch and enjoy below:

The Song itself is a triumph of Inspiral Carpet's trademark combination of Mancunian vocal, mesmeric organ and heavy beat, with John Cooper Clarke's Dr Reliable poetry adding another layer of brilliance to an already great track.

Inspiral Carpets, are of course, no strangers to unconventional guest vocalists, notably collaborating with The Fall's Mark E. Smith on 1994's 'I Want You'.
