Name, where are you from?
Luke Radford, Nottingham.

Describe your style in three words?
Bits and pieces.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Oneman at Stealth in Notts years ago would be the most memorable. Back corner - with my mates, all of us going mad.

If you could work with any artist in history?
Director Francis Ford Coppola between 1971 - 1979, whilst he made The Godfather 1 & 2 and Apocalypse Now. I think they are the three best films ever made. I'd sit in the corner and take notes.

Which Subcultures have influenced you?
Elements of Skinhead and Mod fashion - the turn-up jeans, Docs, jackets and coats. Grime is the most prominent and influential subculture of my generation though - the music, fashion, dialect and DIY ethos approach to music and film.

Of all the places you’ve shown your work, which is your favourite?
I directed a short film called 'I’ll Be Here After The Factory Is Gone' [watch the trailer below] - a homage to Notts set 1960 British film 'Saturday Night and Sunday Morning'. I love the original, 60 years since its release and yet the environment, themes and characters still resonate. The homage played before the original at Broadway Cinema in Nottingham late last year.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Nick Stez - Nottingham producer, mentor and youth worker.
