Palma Violets exploded onto the scene last year, their intense live shows and guerrilla gigs set them apart from the crowd and drew the attention of record labels. Before they knew it they were signed to Rough Trade.
They released their first single 'Best of Friends' and embarked on a solo tour in the latter half of 2012, by the time the dust had settled they were already being hailed as the new saviours of Rock n Roll.
'Step Up For The Cool Cats' is taken from their upcoming debut album '180' which is due for release on 25th February (UK) and 26th February (US). The track was produced by Pulp's Paul Mackay who also produced their imminent full-length debut. This Lambeth four-piece are poised for greatness and are about to perform alongside Miles Kane, Peace and Django Django on the NME Awards Tour.
