Pulled Apart By Horses made everybody stop, look and listen in 2012. Along with their pals Rolo Tomassi they've reinterpreted the grey area between metal and hardcore to produce some of the most defining alternative British, new music, the year had to offer. To celebrate their triumphs, including their joint headline appearance at Dot To Dot 2012, the band will re-release a deluxe version of their album "Tough Love"
“Well it has been one hell of a year for us and we're knee deep in writing now and looking forward to next year” explains guitarist James Brown. “One of the highlights was opening the main stages at Leeds/Reading this year which I don't think we still quite believe happened.
The band have this to say about the deluxe release: “Welcome to the Tough Love sessions! We've had a monumental year and would like to celebrate it by bringing you a collection of rare and unreleased tracks so you can delve deeper into the world of Tough Love,” explains drummer Lee Vincent. “We're very proud to bring you all our b-sides (including those from our debut album), demo's from the Tough Love writing sessions - recorded and mixed by our Rob in a dirty basement in Hyde Park, Live session tracks and even a very special live cover recorded on our European tour. Enjoy!”
Amongst the precious metal nuggets included in the extras: the band's brilliant cover version of Lana Del Rey's "Blue Jeans", and wonderfully stripped back, Sabbathish sessions and demos of "Bromance Ain't Dead" and new single "Epic Myth" (see video below).
