The screening will mark the opening of the 21st Sheffield Doc/Fest, as the European premiere on June 7, at the City Hall.
Premiered at SXSW Film Festival earlier this year, the 93 minute long film uses live footage from the Motorpoint Arena gig, and feature songs such as 'FEELINGCALLEDLOVE', 'Common People' and 'This Is Hardcore'. The documentary also includes interviews which span from Jarvis Cocker discussing his discontent with aging, drummer Nick Banks discussing the band's sponsorship of his daughter's football team, as well as interviews with Richard Hawley and keyboardist Candida Doyle. A major part of the film also covers interviews with fans of Pulp, and Sheffield local people.
Director Florian Habicht delivers a behind-the-scenes story of the band’s emotional and exultant farewell concert in Sheffield.
