The cornerstone of The Watchmakers' psychedelic sound is in classic '60s rock n' roll Velvet Underground, 13th Floor Elevators, The Beatles, etc. alongside post-modern influences such as The Brian Jonestown Massacre, BRMC, Primal Scream and The Verve. Although their influences are transparent, they have created a distinctive identity using a variety of sounds including Indian drones, reverse guitar and modern day synthesisers.

Even though it's early days for The Watchmakers, they are already attracting high praise:

"Underground, psychedelic ...cool as f**k" - Clint Boon, XFM

"One of the best home demos I've heard in ages... QUALITY" - Mikey Johns, This Feeling

"A mesmeric start with real innovation and style" - Jon Ashley, manchestermusic.co.uk
