Name, where are you from?
I'm Sister Sniffany a.k.a JMKE a.k.a Josephine Mairead King Edwards.

Describe your style in three words?
Girly, dirty and trollish.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Late of The Pier when I was thirteen... I lost both my shoes. Hardcore crowds are one thing but nu-rave shows full of teenage girls are far less respectful of personal safety!

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
Icy Spicy Leoncie and Daisy Chainsaw.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
I have been a scene queen since I was twelve years old... it's gifted me a horrible sense of humour and my exaggerated girliness.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Koko the gorilla.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
The Delicious Clam in Sheffield! As it was Halloween there was an interactive horror experience in the basement with people chained to the walls and you could administer electric shocks to them >:-D

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Rowland S. Howard... it's so sad how he wasn't appreciated while he was here, the best guitar player on planet earth and a romantic gothic prince.

Sniffany & The Nits released their debut EP 'The Greatest Nits' in 2020 and bassist, Max Warren, runs the record label Gob Nation.
