Name, where are you from?
Syd Minsky, Todmorden.

Describe your style in three words?
Sh*t Grandma Chav.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
I don’t think I could put my finger on a single gig and say that was the best gig I’ve ever been too, however, Bill Callaghan, Pixies, Hailu Mergia immediately spring to mind as joyously memorable experiences.

If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Cabaret Voltaire and Aphex Twin - 2 real pioneers of electronic music and punk.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Punk.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Ross Orton I know we already get on, have a laugh and can make a good tune together haha.

Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
The Trades Club and The Golden Lion. I wouldn’t be where I am today without either of the venues, Gig, Waka or Mal. It’s so important that we continue to support these venues in this strange time, they are the playgrounds of past present and future bands, artists and creatives.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?

Kraftwerk. Without them, we wouldn’t have most modern music.
