Name, where are you from?
Luc, Born in Harlem. Half raised between Atlanta and Brooklyn.

What do you do?
I am an artist.

Describe your style in three words?
Situational. Reflective. Comfortable.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Not really a gig, but Panorama Festival 2017. Frank Ocean and Solange headlined and I saw them back to back.

If you could put any three bands in history on a lineup?
1. Earth, Wind, and Fire.
2. Funkadelic.
3. Prince & The Revolution.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Black Twitter lol.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Erykah Badu.

What is your favourite live music venue in New York?
I don’t see live music as much. It’s on my things to do.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
M.I.A! Her music inspires me to think in other ways than I would normally. Her productions are fire, and I’m inspired by her story.

“I just needed time alone with my own thoughts,
Got treasures in my mind, but couldn’t open up my own vault.”

From 'Power' by Kanye West. The 2nd verse.

'Loud Places' by Jaime xx (feat. Romy).

'Let Me Get Em' by Soulja Boy.

A song to get you straight on the dance floor?
'Rock The Boat' by Aaliyah.
