03Interview

Name, where are you from?
Finn Foxell, Shepherds Bush, West London.

Describe your style in three words?
stripey, dark, dapper.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Gorillaz, simply the feeling of seeing an artist that I Iistened to from a young age live and in person still performing the same songs.

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
Mike Skinner, feel like we would do some historical sh*t plus always wanted to watch big bro do it live. And Bob Marley, to be able to see the energy he created live and to be a part of it.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
The skater subculture for sure, I’ve always enjoyed skating and the community behind it alongside the fashion. I’d say grime/rap and graff too as both those things my older brother was into, and I took to whatever he did.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Mac Miller, I feel like we would have a lot to speak on and some heavy jokes flying about.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
Thekla, Bristol. (Big up MRIAMNEXT), at the time it was the biggest venue I’d played plus it was on a boat at the same time which I got excited about.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Benny Banks - QOQ #Home.

A song you wished you had written?
'Travellin' Man' by Mos Def.

Best song to turn up loud?
'Hey Ma' by Cam’ron.

A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
'I Gotta Find Peace Of Mind' by Lauryn Hill.

Best song to end an all-nighter on?
'Sunny Daze' by Lord Apex.
