Name, where are you from?
Hi, my name is Sam Partaix, I was born in Paris in 1987. Living in Biarritz now.

What do you do?
I have been a Pro Skater for 13 years, so basically I am skateboarding, travelling, surfing, and shooting photos and videos every day.

Describe your style in three words?
Classic. Authentic. Old-school.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Probably The Brian Jonestown Massacre, it was last year (2019) in Paris. They were playing for 2hrs, absolutely magical!

If you could put any three bands in history on a lineup?
The Meteors. The Clash. Motorhead.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
Skateboarding haha!!! Punk. Street art. Mods. Something off the wall.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Jake Phelps (RIP).

Where is your favourite independent venue?
Le Magneto in Bayonne, France.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Lemmy.
