Our Reissues collection recreates Fred Perry designs from the archive, meticulously made in the same fabrics and colours as the originals. Originally designed in the ‘60s, knitted sports tops bridged life on and off the court as our sportswear designs crossed over into leisurewear. At the time, it was about being smart, but a different kind of smart to the generation before. People began to escape the formal-wear of the previous decade, instead adopting casual styles in refined textures and colours.
