Introduce yourself
Celine Autumn / Gal from Sobs. I make music

Describe your style in 3 words?
Bright, bright colours.

What does the Fred Perry Shirt mean to you?
The Fred Perry Shirt to me represents inclusivity, which allowed the shirt to evolve symbolically throughout the decades.

What is the first song you played on repeat?
'Hot N Cold' by Katy Perry. I was the biggest Katy Perry fan when I was 10, it’s probably my earliest memory of being so fond of an artist and their music.

What is one record you would keep forever?
'Mechanical Animals' by Marilyn Manson. My 15-year-old self would tell you that it “saved my life".

What is a song lyric that has inspired you?
"I dream of my future,
Remote from time bounds,
Becoming myself,
Without any end.”

'I Hope to Be Around' by Men I Trust.

What has been the best gig you've been to?
It’s tough to pick one but if I had to, it would be when I saw Sunflower Bean in late 2017, in New York, at the venue Elsewhere. They were pretty wild live, something I didn’t expect from just listening to them on record. It was also my first day in New York, so the entire experience just felt really special.

Who is your ultimate British musical icon?
Charli XCX. She’s so ahead of the game in pop music. Her music shows how you can be experimental, yet not compromise with the accessibility that is often expected of when it comes to making pop music.

What song do you wish you had written?
'Real Love' by Big Thief.

Where do you go to see live music?
I go to Decline a lot, it is a venue in Singapore. A lot of bands that come to Singapore go there to play, a lot of the shows I’ve played were held there too.
