Festibelly is a one day/one night festival located just outside the idyllic New Forest town of Lymington, Hampshire. In it’s fourth year and having swelled in size it promises 5 different stages or areas accompanied by a friendly homegrown atmosphere as well as a diverse line up of artistic treats. Acts ranging from British pop punk outfit New Young Pony Club to a story telling session from Howard Marks a.k.a Mr Nice of narcotic infamy and everything else in between results in an action packed two days.
Despite its size and the variety and diversity of its acts, Festibelly does not spread itself thinly. It sports an excellent line up including most notably Ghostpoet and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, two artists that have excelled themselves this year. Tickets are also modestly priced costing only £36 with under 12s free making it a distinctly family friendly affair. And any children that attend certainly won’t be at loss for things to do, the festival starting at 9am on Saturday 27th August and finishing at 3pm Sunday 28th August makes one concerned for lack of time if anything due to all the fantastic things on offer!
