New urban pop artist from Copenhagen, Denmark. A feisty pop sound with urban flavors and hard beats is the short description of the sound of Kinck. But her diversity will bring you all the way to a melancholic dub sound with heartbreaking lyrics, and back to an electronic club sound where all you can do is dance! Kinck has been compared to artists like Santigold, M.I.A and even Spice Girls, but coming from a background of reggae, soul and jazz, Kinck is something completely different. And with her almost 6 feet and a pair of heels to bring her close to 7, she stands tall like an Amazon on stage, inviting the listeners to take part in her universe.
Her producer and musical soul mate Allin started out doing old school dub and reggae but quickly adapted to other genres of bass-music, and now doing edgy pop. In the band Junkyard Productions, Allin has shared stage with legends such as Horace Andy, Lee Scratch Perry, Anthony B, Jimmy Cliff, co-written with a remixed All Saints (UK), Mykal Rose, Slowtrain Soul among others. Allin has been part of Danish Reggae producer Pharfar’s Foodpalace Music and done productions and remixes for Urban World Records and has his studio in Copenhagen.
Kinck and Allin is currently working on their EP in the Red Bull Studios In Copenhagen.
