Name, where are you from?
Mellah from Forest Hill, South East London.

Describe your style in three words?
Feely feelings pop.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Every gig I’ve ever seen where Ríoghnach Connolly sings. I am literally streaming with tears by her third word, her voice does something to me.

If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
The Necessaries and Neil Young with Crazy Horse. Chuck the Beatles in there as well... f*ck it.

Which Subcultures have influenced you?
All of them I know of. I like to try and write from outside my own perspective, see things through eyes that see different to mine.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Buddha, get the low down.

Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
Cafe pompier in Bordeaux is pretty special, just good people amazing energy. In London still probably The Windmill, just a consistently good time had there, again, it’s all about the people.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Probably Neil Young, just because he never compromised for anyone even to this day.
