Ruby Goe is a British singer/songwriter who successfully runs her own indie label, Goe Music. She has been moving forward in 2012 with her release "Badman" released on Goe Music in July, with an exclusive license to Transmission Recordings.
Ruby Goe is a creative powerhouse who, along with her own creative Goe Team, shot the video for "Badman" in Cyprus with her friend director Thomas Knights. "Badman" was produced by Andy Chatterly and has a remix package which includes tracks from Roska, Tuff Love, Surge and EelEye.
The "Badman" release follows Ruby Goe's debut single on Goe Music "Get On It".
Ruby Goe's indie team had a lot of success with the "Get On It" set up campaign. BBC Introducing even invited Ruby down to perform at the Maida Vale Sessions.
Shortly after this, "Get On It" was added to the daytime BBC Radio 1 Introducing Playlist and supported by on-air interviews by both Fern Cotton and Hew Stephens; an amazing platform and start for any new artist.
BBC Introducing then asked Ruby to perform on BBC2 TV's The Review Show, where she got to perform one of her signature ballads, "Just My Luck" totally live to 400,000 viewers.
In addition to her own music, Ruby has done a few vocal features. Roska's first release off of his new album (on Rinse in June), "Memories" had first week plays on Radio 1, Kiss and Rinse FM.
Ruby also recorded a "Bring the Heat", with Jester and M1 (of Dead Prez "Bigger Than Hip Hop" fame") at the BMI Writing camp in Jamaica 8, that was immediately added to BBC Radio 1Xtra for specialist plays
Ruby has also done the "Mr.Mr." fashion line film launch project with "Get On It" remix pals Arveene & Misk.
