Sara Alghesheyan, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

What do you do? 
Filmmaker.

Describe your style in three words? 
Simple, '90s, practical.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
SZA 2018 CTRL.

If you could put any three bands in history on a lineup?
I don’t really listen to a lot of bands but I would nominate Destiny’s Child, Arctic Monkeys and Madi Sipes & The Painted Blue.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
I guess indie film culture influenced my filmmaking style.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Stanley Kubrick.

Where is your favourite independent venue?
Other Cinema is a long-standing bastion of experimental film, video, and performance in San Francisco's Mission District. In my time interning when I was going to college. I was introduced to film archiving and film making working at other cinema.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Princess Nokia.
