Whether she was at home on the streets of Camden, performing her music on world stages, or styling herself for photoshoots, Amy was synonymous with the Laurel Wreath. As part of our latest collection with the Amy Winehouse Foundation, we’ve teamed up with long time collaborators G.H. Bass & Co. to create a version of their iconic Penny Loafer, inspired by Amy’s style. A mainstay in both the soul and ska scenes which inspired Amy, our version features an embossed polished leather upper with two signature love hearts, a reference to Amy's distinctive tattoos. We continue to work with the Amy Winehouse Foundation, supporting the charity’s vital work and donating with each collection.
20% of the net revenue received by Fred Perry goes to the Amy Winehouse Foundation (Reg. Charity no: 1143740), estimated to amount to £280,000 per year. The Amy Winehouse Foundation is a registered charity in England and Wales set up in the memory of the late singer. The Charity works to prevent the effects of drug and alcohol misuse on young people. It also aims to support, inform and inspire vulnerable and disadvantaged young people to help them reach their full potential.
