Describe your style in three words?
Indie.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade of Pale - Original Single Version
In 1988 at my house in Australia. I played it on tape.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Blur - This Is a Low - 2012 Remaster
This is the best album from my favorite band of all time.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Blur - Young and Lovely - 2012 Remastered Version
The gig was in Hyde Park and I traveled from Brazil just to see it. Since Blur is my favorite band, it was amazing.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Jesus Jones - Right Here Right Now
At the time Jesus Jones were an exciting new band that mixed indie rock with synths and electronica. There weren’t many bands like it at the time.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Georgia - Never Let You Go
She is an amazing drummer/producer and the song is catchy.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Beastie Boys - Sabotage
Usually on Spotify to jog to. The song is high energy.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
The Cure - A Night Like This
Of my first platonic love.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
The Prodigy - Omen
Liam Howlett.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Primal Scream - Shine Like Stars
Because it is the closing song of a record which tells the story of an all nighter.
