Our Values Our Values Created in 2014, Music Venue Trust is a registered charity which sets out to protect, secure and improve the UK’s grassroots music venues. Working on behalf of 800 venues across the UK, they provide sector support, lobbying, fundraising, networking and crisis support services. With an emphasis on the vital relationship between independent venues and the artists they nurture, the Trust work tirelessly to protect the future of our favourite local venues and up-and-coming artists. Their work is needed now more than ever. We have entered into a long-term partnership with MVT to help support these cultural institutions. Alongside an annual donation of £100,000, we are working with the organisation to profile independent venues that are vital community centres, and the incredible staff that help run them. (Charity no. 1159846) Our Values Our Values Set up by Amy’s family in 2011, The Amy Winehouse Foundation works to inspire children and young people to build their self-esteem and resilience, so that they can flourish. Through school outreach programs and Amy’s Place, their unique recovery home for young women, the Foundation encourages young people to have open conversations, build resilience, and get the support they need to thrive. 20% of the net revenue received by Fred Perry for the Amy Winehouse collection goes to the Amy Winehouse Foundation (Reg. Charity no: 1143740). Throughout the course of our partnership we’ve donated over £2.4 million. “Our relationship with Fred Perry is very special. Amy herself lay the foundations over a decade ago with her original collection and we have seen that continue with incredible impact over the years. Not only has the collection created beautiful Amy-inspired clothes, but it has so far raised over £2,000,000 to support our programmes at the Amy Winehouse Foundation. From the very start Fred Perry have proactively engaged with the work we do - they have visited our projects, met our beneficiaries and engaged with our staff and volunteers. We’re incredibly grateful to Fred Perry and to every single person who has bought and treasured items from the Amy Winehouse collection.” Jane Winehouse Our Values Our Values The Fred Perry Tennis Trust (Reg no. 1199320) provides free community coaching programs which are currently running in London, Brighton, Leeds, Manchester and Stockport on our refurbished community tennis courts. The Fred Perry Tennis Trust also organizes The Fred Perry Championship – a national youth tennis tournament – which gives the best young talent across the UK an opportunity to compete and win an exclusive Fred Perry tennis kit. Follow the Tennis Trust’s activities here. Our Values Our Values The first of its kind, The Museum of Youth Culture was set up to document the attitudes, styles and expressions of youth across the UK. Their aim: to inspire future generations to make their own mark on the world around them. Fred Perry proudly support their work, with an annual donation of £100,000 to help them establish a permanent home for the museum in London and Birmingham. Our Black Friday Donation Black Friday has never really been our style. Our priority has always been to make timeless clothes that stand the test of time. And so, after the success of our previous Black Fridays, we continued our efforts to support our chosen community organisations for 2023. Between Thursday 23rd November (00:01 GMT) and Sunday 26th November (23:59 GMT), we donated 10% of net sales on fredperry.com and in our UK, France, USA and Germany ‘Fred Perry’ shops, to be split equally between four community organisations: The Music Venue Trust (UK charity no. 1159846), Blueprint for All (UK charity no. 1102267), Amy Winehouse Foundation (charity no. 1143740) and Museum of Youth Culture C.I.C. (UK Community Interest Company no. 09680751). Thanks to you, our total donation over the long weekend came to £74,791, giving our community organisations over £18,000 each. These organisations reflect our values of independence and diversity, and we are proud to have an ongoing relationship with each of them. Partnering Fred Perry We are always open to new partners to help us achieve our community. If you think you have something to add we'd love to hear from you.
