03Interview

Describe your style in three words?

Inspired and trying.

The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?

Green Day - Holiday

When I was about 4, me and my Mum would drive around listening to nothing but the 'American Idiot' album. I think 'Holiday' was my favourite from it.

A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?

The Strokes - The Modern Age

I have MANY favourite albums, but 'Is This It' internationally stands out. And 'The Modern Age' GETS me lol.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Foo Fighters - All My Life

June 23, 2018 (I think). Foo Fighters are outrageous, simple. They opened with 'All My Life' and me and Dad fkn lost it mate.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Brandon Flowers - Can't Deny My Love

It's just such a BOP, and I LOVE that man so much.

A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?

The Strokes - Meet Me In The Bathroom

Have 'Room on Fire' on shuffle. Not too long ago I saw a video of them playing this live in 2003 and Julian looking SO SAD; it's hysterical bless him.

Best song to turn up loud? And why?

Placebo - Second Sight

There's far too many, but this is an undeniable BELTER in the car.

A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?

Pierce The Veil - King For A Day

The Emo phase was f*cking strong lol, used to get Kerrang every week. I haven't heard it in a while but in fairness, it's a banger.

An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?

The Voidz - Human Sadness

It's just a masterpiece. 11 minutes of GENIUS and because there's so many different parts I never get tired of hearing it.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Oasis - Don't Look Back In Anger

Best song to belt out, best song that everyone knows, best song to play when everyone's in a quality mood.
