Name, where are you from?
Daniel, Madrid.

What do you do?
Collaborator on fashion dedicated to fashion.

Describe your style in three words?
Comfortable, functional and classic.

What's the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Diego el Cigala at the Teatro Alcalá. After missing several performances in my city, in the end, I got to see one of my favourite artists. He gave me the creeps.

If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
The Beatles. Sounds typical but all they have created around them by that time is what I find interesting and Kraftwerk because of their aesthetics and staging.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
In my teenage years, I used to listen and copy my style directly from hip hop: denim overalls, Ewing boots, snapbacks, American sports t-shirts. I’m still listening to music from that time although that aesthetic no longer influences me.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Salvador Dalí, but more than a simple conversation, I would like to be present during that time watching his creative process, whether in any of its facets. I don't know the reason, but It would hit me while a Bjork song is playing on the background, 'All Is Full of Love', for example.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
I don’t know if it would be a hero, but I believe everything that Julio Iglesias created in a time that social media weren’t there to help as they do now and Spanish music wasn’t a thing in non-Spanish speaker countries, I think that was worthy.

04Playlist Notes

The first track you played on repeat?
I think the first would be 'Jump' by Kris Kross. In my time, we used to play rewind on the walkman or the stereo cassette.

A song that defines the teenage you?
'Insane in the Brain' by Cypress Hill.

One record you would keep forever?
'Iros Todos A Tomar Por Culo' by Extremoduro. Not because I like it that much, I love it, but for who gave it away to me.

A song lyric that has inspired you?
'Ain't No Grave' by Johnny Cash.

A song you wished you had written?
'My Way' by Sinatra.

Best song to turn up loud?
'Paranoid' by Black Sabbath.

A song people wouldn’t expect you to like?
There’s plenty. I listen to everything absolutely. To mention one, Palabras para Julia from Paco Ibañez.

The song that would get you straight on the dance floor?
No song has ever achieved this, I have less rhythm than a plaster cat, but my foot slips with some.

Best song to end an all-nighter?
Anything from Julio Iglesias, if I have to choose one, 'Abrázame'.

Any new bands you are into at the moment?
Alpha Mist, I’ve found it from a friend’s Instagram post and I am listening to it a lot. I choose 'Insomnia' from his album 'Epoch'.
