Name, where are you from?

Krush Puppies, mostly based in London now (Heather our drummer is in Worthing) but we’re from all over England originally.

Describe your style in three words?

Goth at a wedding.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?

Anna Calvi's secret show at The Windmill in Brixton.

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?

Nirvana - they were huge for us growing up, they’ve got melody and spectacle. Leigh Bowery and his performance art/music in the late 1980s.

Which subcultures have influenced you?

Riot grrrl did so much for women in bands/who go to watch bands/who listen to bands. We also love anything with a DIY aesthetic with their hearts in the right place. Are vampires a subculture? We love them too.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?

She’s still making history - Dolly Parton!

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?

White Hotel in Manchester is cool, it has a bar in the floor.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?

Trish Keenan from Broadcast.

Krush Puppies released their debut EP 'Love Kills The Demons' on 6th May 2022. Listen, purchase or stream it via linktr.ee/krushpuppies.
