Having established herself as one of the most exciting new artists to come out of Wales this year, Nia Wyn has shared the video for her latest song ‘Turnstiles’.
Produced by the legendary Paul Weller in his Surrey studio, it tells a tale of finding love in unexpected places. The song also features Paul Weller on bass, Hammond organ and backing vocals.
Turnstiles' timeless soul sound owes its authenticity in no small part to Nia's interpretation of great soul influences, new and old.
Growing up in a small town in North Wales, Nia Wyn found solace in blues and soul records she found in junk shops. Nia has a talent for powerful socially conscious storytelling with her unorthodox style reminiscent of a young Amy Winehouse.
Nia Wyn will play several dates this summer including London's Labour Live Festival on 16th June and a support slot with Paloma Faith in Nia's hometown of Colwyn Bay.
