Introducing The Lost Boys, a four-piece indie pop band from Southampton. Delivering short and sharp and catchy, energetic music, littered with quirky and yet touching lyrics, The Lost Boys' music is heavily influenced by all the things that surround them and that they experience in everyday life.
New single 'A Better Life' is now available digitally, and released 16th Oct on limited 7" vinyl through Heavy Soul Records (original home to The Strypes). The single was recorded at Paul Weller’s Black Barn studio in Ripley, and B-side 'December Forever' features none other than Mr. Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene / Paul Weller) on lead guitar.
The Lost Boys have brought their energetic live shows to many prestigious venues, conquering the crowds along the way with notable support slots to the likes of Paul Weller, The Undertones, The Enemy, The Ordinary Boys, Catfish & the Bottlemen, The Moons and From The Jam. The band has also enjoyed successful shows at festivals and have received airplay on BBC 6 Music.
Along with many other accolades since forming - The 'Modfather' Paul Weller has said of frontman Daniel Ash "He's a great little songwriter!" and has personally invited The Lost Boys to use his studio for free on more than one occasion. At a BBC Maida Vale session, Mr. Weller called on Daniel to come up and play one of his own songs to his audience and has also given the band the opportunity to open for him at Hammersmith Apollo and again most recently at The 100 club.
