What do you do?

Where are you from?
Gunma, Japan

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
The gig of ‘2 Many DJs’ in the event ‘Electraglide’ held in Makuhari Messe. It was my first experience of big DJ-event and I was so excited. Everything was great, not only the technique of mashup, but also the direction and people’s excitement. I truly think DJs (as artist/profession) are awesome because they can get the audience excited via someone else’s music.

Which sub-cultures have influenced you?
I respected Vivienne Westwood when I was around 20. She is quite edgy, and I wanted to be like her. But actually, I didn’t as I was not brave enough to do so.

Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
Though the name has changed now, the main floor of ‘Daikanyama AIR’. The sound there was great, so I felt I could do what I wanted to.

If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
The most well-known UK band The Beatles. I would like to sing together with them even as back band tambourine player.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
I would like to have a chat with David Bowie having tea, and ask how to switch himself between a musician and an actor, as he did both.
