Gentleman’s Dub Club new album 'Lost In Space' is out now. The album Described by the band as "a euphoric journey through time, space and bass" continues GDC's exploration of dub, reggae, ska, bass and jazz creating a futuristic take on the fusion of genres they encounter on the way.
The album is preceded by the similarly themed single 'Stardust', demonstrating GDC's trademark bombastic horns set against a colourful b-movie sci-fi vibe. The theme reoccurs across the album with song titles such as 'Light The Fuse', 'Out Of This World' and 'Intergalactic' continuing the suggestion off-world travel.
The second single 'Turning Back' features the vocals of Swedish Dancehall artist Million Stylez, following in the vein of their acclaimed 2018 collaborations with The Nextmen, Gardna and Hollie Cook to name just a few, not to mention their one-day takeover of David Rodigan's BBC1 Xtra radio show. 2019 looks to be another astronomical year for the band if the tracks on 'Lost In Space' are anything to go by.
