Helmet Compass

Thursday 5th September 2013

First takes and fast decisions recorded on a fourtrack cassettetape recorder. The trio Helmet Compass catches the magic of the moment with lofi rocksongs about the absurdities of life. The band is inspired by the 90s rockscene with names as Oasis and The Dandy Warhols. With a “no tomorrow”-workspeed the band has released no less than 7 EPs, during the last 18 months.

The newest EP is released on cassettetape, through the brandnew indielabel, Raum Eins Records & Press. “Beautiful High” presents some of the bands more acidious and experimental work; more synths, less guitars and spontaneous electronica-references. However, “Beautiful High” is also a collection of Helmet Compass strongest lyrics and melodies.
