Kiesza’s debut album Sound Of A Woman is the sound of New York dance clubs of the ‘90s; house-pop at its finest. Drenched in heartfelt emotion, Kiesza's spine-tingling vocals and killer dance moves add to the '90s house-sound of the dance floor, the rebirth of which is currently hitting UK club culture with acts such as Gorgon City and Javeon.
Kiesza herself, as well as an exceptional singer and astounding dancer, is a multi-faceted musician, and embraces blending sounds across the Hip Hop, R&B, UKG and Breakbeat genres, to the most passionate, spirited effect.
Her chart topping debut no. 1 single ‘Hideaway’ spread like wildfiire upon release, amassing over 157 million plays on YouTube and gaining fans by way of none other than Madonna, who recently posted an Instagram of her dancing to the global smash hit, quoting “Another reason to wake up smiling!”
Once again demonstrating her killer dance moves, Kiesza's recently unveiled the incredibly catchy 'No Enemiesz', the video for which sees Kiesza’s clothes morph in to dancers, as she belts out the all-inclusive and infectious chorus “If we could all fall in love together, then we’d have no enemies.”
Riding high off the success of her recent European tour, including her knockout performance at this years EMAs, Kiesza took her standout, dance-fuelled show to 6 cities including Amsterdam and Berlin, before culminating in an electrifying sold out headline show at London’s Electric, Brixton.
Now on the cusp of releasing her debut LP and firmly setting her sights on continuing her domination of the UK music scene, Kiesza will return to the UK in March 2015 for a six date UK-wide tour starting in Manchester, and hitting Leeds, Glasgow, Brimming and Nottingham with a headline show at London’s, Shepherds Bush Empire.
