Max Raptor

Monday 5th September 2011

“The King is Dead”, forthcoming single from Max Raptor’s debut 8-track mini album “Portraits” (out now) presents material from a new wave British alt-rock band that get it right.

From the commencing bass riff to the final screams of Wil Ray, it is hard to fault “The King is Dead". Sticking fast to the tried and tested rock method of an irresistible hook, breakdown and harmonic pre-chorus, coupled with relentless riffs dripping of Jack Daniels and sweat, Max Raptor stamp their purpose with the forthcoming release.

With demonstrative support from the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show, XFM Rock Show and Kerrang! Radio around “Portraits”, which was recorded with Dan Weller (Sikth), Max Raptor are a band with momentum. And, having already played with the likes of Frank Turner, Dillinger Escape Plan and the Darkness the following year will be an exciting one.

“The King Is Dead” will be released 17th October 2011 through Naim Edge Records.

Nick Otter.
