Swim Deep Announce Tour Dates and New Single
Thursday 27th June 2013

Having recently impressed Dot to Dot Festival goers on the main stage as part of their sold out blitz round the UK, Birmingham foursome Swim Deep are pleased to announce news of an Autumn UK tour and new single ‘King City’ to mark their debut album release in August.
Swim Deep, who create music which can be described as 'if Nirvana went surf', will be appearing at their biggest shows to date in their native UK, including at the Town Hall of their home town Birmingham – a beautiful example of Roman Revival civic architecture built in 1834.
‘King City’ was the band's debut single last year and was released on 7" on Chess Club Records. The re-release will be available on 22nd July and was produced by Dreamtrak and mixed by Charlie Hugall. ‘King City’ will be available on 7” vinyl and digitally via all reputable outlets.
The re-recording has also been given a cool new video which features lead singer Austin Williams and fellow band mates on a care-free road trip through the US, down sun-soaked roads through the desert via the beach, ending up in the City at night.
Swim Deep play through September as follows:
16th Sheffield - Queen’s Social Club
17th Manchester - Academy 3
19th Leeds - Cockpit
20th Birmingham - Town Hall
21st Nottingham - Rescue Rooms
22nd Cardiff - The Globe
23rd Oxford - 02 Academy 2
24th Cambridge - The Junction
25th Brighton - Concorde 2
27th London - Shepherds Bush Empire
The band's debut album 'Where the Heaven Are We' is due for release 5th August on RCA Victor/Chess Club Records.
