Where are you from?
Describe your style in three words.
Subject to change.
What was your all-time favourite gig?
Getting to share the stage with Donovan at a festival in the Midlands.
Which British subculture means the most to you?
The grey areas of the 70s where you could listen to electronic; progressive world influences and DIY music, and you didn't necessarily have to belong to any particular subculture, but rather embrace any elements that spoke to you. Celebrate the weird, wonderful and musically androgynous, rules aren't important.
How should your music be listened to?
With an open mind. Some of the most abrasive artists wrote some of the best pop music of our time.
What British music icons inspire you?
Bill Nelson - he's a chameleon of style depending on what he wants to say in a song.
Also Peter Hammill and Rick Wright.
If you could share the bill with any British band in history – who would it be?
Nick Nicely - his work is so timeless familiar and alien all at once, a real alchemist behind the controls too.
