Describe your style in three words?
Unapologetic, unconventional, dynamic.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Oasis - Go Let It Out
When it came out, I was 12 and had a massive crush on LG. Soon after, Oasis played in Verona, a city near my hometown... they were my first ever gig!
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Nirvana - Come As You Are
In my teenage years I was super into grunge and would listen to Nirvana religiously. Then, I had a phase of wanting to be a bass player, this was the first song I taught myself.
A song from your most memorable gig?
The Cure - Boys Don't Cry
The gig was at the O2 arena in February 2009, it was my first big gig in London and felt amazing. Crystal Castles, Franz Ferdinand and White Lies were also on the bill.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Billy Idol - Dancing With Myself
This song just takes me back to my first year of uni in Milan, when I discovered an incredible indie club called Plastic, it was like nothing I had seen before. All the people dressed so cool and would dance to punk rock... very unusual for your typical Italian!
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Orville Peck - Dead of Night
I stumbled on Orville's insta account and instantly fell in love. His music sounds timeless and I always love a character.. what's better than a charming, enigmatic, masked cowboy singing the blues?
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
David Bowie - Starman - 2012 Remaster
This song is just great... !!
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
It's got to be this... The song I'd "scream" along to whilst reading Kurt Cobain's diaries...
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
Blur - Song 2
Cliche maybe... but it's just one of those tunes, any brit-poppy club night will play it at some point and it gets everyone jumping... Wooo-hoooooooo.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Darude - Sandstorm
After dancing to this at the end of a night I can go home satisfied and happy.
