What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
A couple of us went to catch LICE at End Of The Road and we were positively blown away. Their presence on stage is so authentic and captivating, they're one of those bands where you can’t help but lose your sh*t and get in the pit.

If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
My Bloody Valentine and The Horrors. They've influenced our sound massively and it would be an absolute dream to play with either band. Also would have to snap a pic of Kevin Shields' pedalboard.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
We are all individually influenced by very different things. But the subcultures that have influenced us musically are a lot of '80s and '90s guitar and club music. We tend to gravitate towards older music in terms of getting inspired to write our own, we just find that era of music has influenced our sound more than anything else.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Prince. Just to hear him talk.

Of all the venues you’ve been to or played, which is your favourite?
The Marble Factory in Bristol. It was the biggest show we've played so far, we were supporting our friends Squid and it will hold a special place in our hearts for a long time. Another venue worth mentioning is the Old England also in Bristol. We had two of the best shows we’ve ever played there. It's under new management now and just isn’t the same anymore, but will always be really special to us and many others who played and attended shows there in what was this great, short-lived venue for the live scene in Bristol.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Carol Kaye. She played loads of iconic bass lines as a session musician over the decades but didn't get a lot of credit for a while.
