Nineteen Fifties Prostitute.
If you could make a record with anyone from history?
I'd like to make a record with The Monkees. I think I'd like to do 'Daydream Believer', although it always makes me cry for some reason... Then I'd demand to be on their TV Show with them, it would be nice too as I'd probably look really tall hanging out with them!
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
The Specials, Brixton Academy, just after Amy Winehouse had passed, they played 'Hey Little Rich Girl' in her memory.
What British music icons inspire your sound today?
T-Rex. 'I Love To Boogie' - everybody should have a song about a dance routine in their set and a little bit of Marc in their heart!
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Easy, Joe Strummer. I'd ask him if he thinks I'm doing this all right, what I should be singing about and how to deal with the fact that Johnny Rotten is still alive doing butter adverts... I'd pick Joe cause he is my hero.
Which British subculture means the most to you?
Mod. It's important to look smart and its a way of life. I don't want to be like anybody else, that's why I'm a mod, see?
If you could share the bill with any British band in history?
The Small Faces, probably just after they had released Tin Solider. How amazing would that be?! I'd also demand to do backing vocals for them during their set, I'd like to share a mic with Stevie, you wouldn't have to move the mic stand cause we'd probably be the same height!
What music did you listen to growing up?
Everything from Johnny Cash to Madchester. I remember my mum and dad painting the living room and playing Sally Cinnamon. I remember standing in the kitchen listening to it and taking the CD upstairs and playing it in my room on repeat!

'Pink Glove' by Pulp.
One record you would keep forever?
'Walk Out To Winter' by Aztec Camera, I love the nod to Strummer in it, Roddy Frame is an incredible songwriter.
A song from your favourite album?
I have no idea how I'd pick a favourite album, but if you put a gun to my head it would be 'Vicar In A Tutu' by The Smiths from The Queen is dead.
A song you wish you had written?
'Free World' by Kirsty MacColl.
A song that defines the teenage you?
'Stay Free' by The Clash. I remember coming home from school and putting this on and watching Rude Boy and learning all the lines Joe Strummer said. School wasn't for me, I was always desperate to get out and sing. So I did.

Liam Gallagher's album 'As You Were'.

Anything by George Michael, I know all the words to 'Wham Rap!' and I AM NOT ASHAMED. I also have two copies of the Grease soundtrack.

'Band of Gold' by Freda Payne.

'Be My Baby' by The Ronettes.
Any new bands your listening to right now?
The Skinner Brothers - The trombone player is one of my best mates, they've just supported The Libs in Scotland. They played Rock and Roll Rescue next to the Dublin Castle the other week and the youtube footage looks amazing!
The Assist - Wonderful is a really great track, they're just about to go on tour supporting The Twang! I love these boys, every time I've played with them they've been great!
Jordan Allen - My favourite northerners!! Jordan is such an amazing songwriter and one of the most genuine, lovely people. The boys deserve all the love they're getting. Rosie is my favourite song, I wish he'd called it Emily.
The Spitfires - A local band to me and I have had the honour of playing alongside them and supporting them a few dates on their tour. A great sound and a great set! Billy had a great pair of loafers on when I saw him at Reading Festival!
