What music defines the teenage you?
There are too many different genres of music that I listened to growing up, but if I’d choose one it would be the whole skateboarding punk rock scene. I grew up watching skateboarding videos and the soundtrack usually encapsulates the whole angry youth scene at the time perfectly- just the right amounts of rage and angst paired with distorted guitars and singalong choruses. Bliss.

A song from your favourite album?
‘Do It 4 U (feat. D∆WN)’ by Machinedrum.

Best song to turn up loud?
'‘Tubthumping’ by Chumbawamba.

What new music are you listening to?
Currently, I’m digging Honne and Anderson .Paak a lot. Both are amazing on record and even more spectacular on stage.

What are you working on at the moment?
Currently, I’m working on DANGERDISKO’s second album, which is scheduled to be released end of the year, if all goes well. Also, I’m back DJing with Bunga with our new monthly alternative music nights called Bad Habits.

04Playlist Notes

'Down We Go (Jensen Sportag Remix)' by Madi Diaz.
An amazing and unlikely remix of Madi Diaz’s Trust Fall by Nashville’s finest Jensen Sportag.

'Bawling' by Primary & OHHYUK.
Smooth and sexy by South Koreans Primary and OHHYUK and further proof that the South Koreans are a force to be reckoned with in the new wave of Asian pop.

'Me & You' by HONNE & Tom Misch.
Absolutely lush and sexy tune by 2 of my favourite current artists.

'Hallucinate' by GL.
Funky tune for those Friday Nights drinking sessions.

'These Walls' by Moss Kena.
Gorgeous neo-soul and R&B vocals and melodies set in front of lush analogue sounding soundscapes.

'Love Like This' by Oliver feat. Leon Else.
Absolute fire tune by LA’s finest kings of nu disco.

'Outpost Alpha' by Mitch Murder.
This is what absolute peak synthwave looks like.

'Love On Hold' by Aeroplane.
Absolute disco fire by the genius DJ/Producer from Belgium

'Night Moves' by Roosevelt.
Indie synth-pop meets disco in this tune.

'New Love' by Handbook.
Funky tune sampling the classic Gap Band track.

'Clarity' by Harvey Sutherland.
A funky and smooth tune that will surely get your feet tapping.

'It’s A Memory (Oliver Remix)' by Fred Falke.
One of the best nu-disco tracks being remixed by our favourite all-time producers.
