Describe your style in three words?
Minimalistic, clean, cohesive.
The first track you played on repeat?
Tame Impala - The Less I Know The Better
First time hearing this Tame Impala tune had me hooked. I love how it made me feel and the catchy lyrics.
A song from your favorite album?
Sundara Karma - Flame
'Youth is Only Ever Fun In Retrospect' has been my favourite album for the past four years and still gets played daily. 'Flame' has always been my favourite and will be forever I predict.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Blaenavon - Prague '99
Packed into a scruffy little club in Chester on the front row with my best friends screaming the lyrics to 'Prague' is one of my favourite gig memories. It was intimate, fun and made me feel alive.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Two Door Cinema Club - What You Know
Two Door never fail to make me dance. Their songs are so good at getting you moving and feeling carefree.
A new song you're listening to?
JAWNY - Honeypie
This song is a little different but seems to be working for me. I like to switch up my music every once in a while to see where my taste is currently at.
Best song to turn up loud?
Grouplove - Tongue Tied
This song is always on full volume. I can't explain the feeling I get when I hear this song. It creates the strongest sense of optimism and positivity.
A song that defines the teenage you?
Smallpools - Dreaming
I found this song when I was 15 in the Hollister changing rooms and thought it was so cool and American. I imagined my older self driving around in the summer listening to it. Years later and I still love it.
An anthemic song?
The Killers - Mr. Brightside
This song embodies 'British' in my eyes. Everybody knows this song and I have belted it out in the streets after leaving nights out with complete strangers.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
The 1975 - Paris
This song calms me more than any other song. It has a super comforting pitch to it and is a great post-all-nighter.
