Describe your style in three words?
Cool Calm Collective.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Oasis - Acquiesce
I listened to it waking to the bus stop every morning for school. I’d press play as soon as I left my door and it would finish exactly when I got there.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
The Rolling Stones - Midnight Rambler - Live From Madison Square Garden, New York/1969
It’s the only cassette we had in the car.
A song from your most memorable gig?
Her's - Marcel
Two of the nicest people I ever met. Gone but never forgotten.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Matthew Wilder - Break My Stride
Put the song on and you’ll know what I mean.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
Nick Murphy - Sanity
Nick Murphy (Chet Faker) was someone I’ve listened to for years. This song brought back those memories.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
The Crew Cuts - Sh-Boom (Life Could Be A Dream)
Anytime, anywhere. You can’t beat a bit of doo wop.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
The Vaccines - All In White
My first ever gig. The Winter Gardens at Blackpool.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
The Ronettes - Be My Baby
Saying the song was made in 1963, it still gets everyone moving. All time classic.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
T. Rex - Hot Love - A Side
Just imagining me and my friends pulling embarrassing shapes in Jimmys to this.
