Describe your style in three words?

Casual Mod Classics.

The first track you played on repeat?

The Beatles - Tomorrow Never Knows - Remastered 2009

I’d never heard a song like it and to this day haven’t found enough. Psychedelic Beatles’ tunes are the best Beatles Records.

A song from your favorite album?

Arctic Monkeys - Perhaps Vampires Is A Bit Strong But…

Arctic Monkeys are an obvious, predictable (and sometimes lazy) choice for residents of Sheffield but the importance and impact of their debut release changed everything for me. This is the best song on the album.

A song from your most memorable gig?

Amy Winehouse - You Know I'm No Good

Feel privileged to have watched Amy Winehouse live. Incredible artist. Her talent was truly unique and her performance was amazing.

A song that always gets you up and dancing?

Reverend And The Makers - Silence Is Talking

The bassline is huge. It drives through your body. Especially during Rev’s live shows. Crowds usually bounce from front to the back in unison to this one.

A new song you're listening to?

Billy Nomates - No

Proper punk. Great lyrical message. Looking forward to her debut album.

Best song to turn up loud?

Oasis - Fuckin' In the Bushes

Sounds like if T. Rex had collaborated with The Chemical Brothers. A filthy guitar riff and thundering Drums. Louder the better.

A song that defines the teenage you?

Idle Ross - Into the Thick of It

Been knocking around in Bands since I was 16. Progressing from Bass player to songwriter to frontman. The hook for this song was one of the first I ever composed and it’s endured ever since.

An anthemic song?

The Stone Roses - I Am the Resurrection - Remastered

Hearing this live at the Etihad Stadium was like an out-of-body experience. Every time I hear it takes me back to that feeling.

Best song to end an all-nighter?

Alabama 3 - Woke Up This Morning

Makes you feel cool as. No matter how fragile you may be in reality. You’ll be swaggering into that taxi home.
