The creation of the band DUERER began in the summer of 2012 as the studio project of songwriter Daniel Matz and lyricist Danny Muller-Sixer. Owed her musical prospects, there the two friends had taken on the task to shake up the German music scene. In house the Erfurt guys produced a few songs that they spread initially via Facebook, Soundcloud and Youtube.
The positive response, especially among media representatives and the desire to live concerts, encouraged the two to transform the former studio project in a band. Under the name DUERER you worked permanently in the future on new material, and won by little more musicians on board. As a result, a style emerged that moves between indie rock and pop. Melancholic, dreamy, modern, yet modest, the most timeless compost ions come along.
Lyrically oriented one towards the specific characteristics of the everyday. The works affirm life in all its facets, but are not afraid to look to the dark side. Already with the third joint appearance is DUERER took the overall victory in the Thüringen Grammy in 2013. This she quickly made a name for himself as a promising young talent with higher demands.
Since September 12, 2014 are now their first album "Melancholic Euphoria", produced by Frithjof Rödel (Northern Lite) in Atomino Studio Erfurt. With the song "What was yesterday," she represented the state of Thuringia in the anniversary edition of Stefan Raab's Federal Vision Song Contest.
