03Interview

What music defines the teenage you?
'Ice Ice Baby' by Vanilla Ice. I had the same hairstyle and doing dance like him in clubs and performing at school functions. I didn’t know why.

A song from your favourite album?
'Human Behaviour' by Björk was one that blew my mind away, her existence changed the whole music industry. The sound was so new, her visuals and styles are still iconic even today.

Best song to turn up loud?
'Blue Monday' by New Order. This track just gets people’s shoulder moving.

What new music are you listening to?
The thing is I have been listening to a lot of older music which I have not heard of. On and off I do come across some interesting new music like Starcrawler, Jorja Smith, Suuns, Syd are all my current favourites.

What are you working on at the moment?
As I am answering this, I am not working. I am sipping my masala tea and having my naan high up in the Himalaya as I am typing this. When I return, I will just have more commercials to shoot!
