i: Musician.

What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
i: As much as I’d like to say Trip Duo Ichiko Aoba and Chiku Toshiaki is the best one, I honestly think every gig I’ve been was great!
JC: While She Sleeps at Taichung, Taiwan.
JH: ‘Where the Light is’ by John Mayer (online).
S: There are too many to name.
B: Antonio Sanchez & Migration Band 2017 Live in Taipei.

Which subcultures have influenced you?
i: Gaming is definitely the coolest thing. It’s like an animation except more complicated. It is built from scratch and forms a world of its own; players are guided to explore and experience everything that’s there. All the games I love are precious, it is amazing where I am taken to by them. From Life is Strange, Diablo 2, H1Z1, GTA5, The Sims, DOA 3... I want to thank the hard-working people behind each game, they have my highest respect.
JC: Neo-Soul, Hip-Hop and Soul.
JH: Nothing for me.
S: Music.
B: Manga.
W: Online games.

Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
i: I remember the feelings at every venue we played at, namely The Wall and Revolver (both in Taipei). As a music fan, I’ve always found The Wall a sacred sanctuary, because all of my favourite bands played there. Performing there is a different story: I was both scared and excited. Revolver, on the other hand, is all about the free mood. The place doesn’t give anyone any special attention, but it accepts everyone with openness.

If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
i: Amy Winehouse; I would like to space out next to her, have a laugh. I just want to chill out together.
JC: I want to take a class with James Jamerson, Sharay Reed, and Pino Palladino.
JH: I want to watch the Big Bang of the universe with God.
S: I want to play basketball with Kevin Garnett.
B: I would like to talk to my past self.
W: I want to do things that are unrelated to music with my friends.

Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
i: Boycany, a close friend of mine. His music has accompanied me for years. The other day I was crying, so decided to put on his music while ambling on the street.
JC: Rocco Prestia.

S: Mixing engineers.
B: The unknown musicians behind every work.
