What's the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Public Enemy, LL Cool J and Rakim.
If you could be on the line up with any two bands in history?
Curtis Mayfield and Bob Marley.
Which subcultures have influenced you?
Reggae, Soul, Hip Hop, Disco, Boogie, Funk, House, Gospel, Jazz, Rock… etc
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Muhammad Ali because it's Muhammad Ali. The greatest.
Of all the venues you’ve played, which is your favourite?
KOOL KAT/GARAGE CLUB Nottingham. It was the venue that played the music I liked (see above). Then I was resident DJ for 7/8 years.
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Curtis Mayfield - His voice, compositions, street poetry and social commentary.
Joe Buhdha has teamed up with singer Terri Walker for a second time and they will release their 5-track 'Break Out' EP in May 2019. Listen to the reggae inspired lead single 'Breakout' below.
Their first collaboration was in 2014 when they released the 'Untitled to Entitled' EP which included the track 'Feel Right' which you can also listen to below.
