Maeve, Cayman Islands.
Describe your style in three words?
Dystopian gutter queen.
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Massive Attack - being one of my favourite bands it was amazing being able to see them for the first time at the O2. The visual experience with each song was insane.
If you could be on the line up with any two artists in history?
David Bowie, because he’s an icon and a true artist. It would’ve been a dream just to be able to meet him. Patti Smith, one of my favourite artists of all time. I’ve actually seen her live a couple of times and have read all of her books. She’s a legend and being on a line up with her would be insane.
Which subcultures have influenced you?
Punk. Afrofuturism. Emo. LGBTQ.
If you could spend an hour with anyone from history?
Grace Jones and we would go get wasted in Studio 54 in its prime together.
Your greatest unsung hero or heroine in music?
Tom Waits - I know he gets a lot of praise but I think he should be more talked about today. The listening experience is almost like watching a movie when you listen to 'Rain Dogs' and I love the world he created.
