Describe your style in three words?
My own style.
The first track you played on repeat? And where did you play it?
Oasis - She's Electric
When I was young I loved listening to the music my parents like, I got bought a guitar when I was young and I tried to learn this to impress them.
A song from your favourite album? And what does this track mean to you?
Arctic Monkeys - Star Treatment
This is the first song to one of the best albums I’ve ever heard in my life, it got so much unjust stick but I love it and it is genuinely one of the best albums I’ve ever heard in my life, every song is perfect.
A song from your most memorable gig?
The Snuts - What's Going On? - Demo
I have lots of memorable gigs but when me my girlfriend and a big group of friends from all over the country got together to watch The Snuts at Night People in Manchester, it was a night of pure ecstasy everyone was happy and it’s just a really memorable night.
A song that always gets you up and dancing?
Pulp - Babies
I don’t know exactly what it is about this song but I absolutely love it, I also absolutely love Pulp but this song is one me and my girlfriend always put on the jukebox and dance to.
A new song you're listening to? Why do you like this artist?
The Recreation - Jealous Lovers
I feel this is a band you need to hear, not only do they sound amazing on recording but they are a fantastic live band, they’re also grafting there backsides off and creating amazing music that needs to be heard so make sure you definitely check them out.
Best song to turn up loud? And why?
Gerry Cinnamon - Sometimes
I can listen to this song literally anywhere but it’s one that always gets cranked up especially at parties or even when listening alone, Gerry is fantastic and this song is amazing live too. It gets you up on your feet and makes you want to move.
A song that defines the teenage you? And the memories it evokes?
The Cribs - Be Safe
This song I loved from the first play, but I never really got, I went through some really tough times as a teenager and one day it all just clicked it’s a song that makes me happy and sad but brings back some truly amazing memories.
An anthemic song? Why does it get your pulse racing?
The Stone Roses - This Is the One - Remastered
As any match going Manchester United fan will tell you this song is an anthem, they play it just before the players walk out on a match day and it really does give you goosebumps.
Best song to end an all-nighter?
Arctic Monkeys - The Ultracheese
You’ve been on a high all night, this brings you down nice and gently and is the perfect end to a big night.
